So, in honor of the dry January we are having, we asked our on-site professional estheticians for their recommendations of no-fail ways for every skin type to get and keep radiant skin this winter. Here they are:

1. Drink plenty of water.

There are two ways to hydrate your skin, and both are super important. The first is to drink plenty of water. Every cell in your body needs hydration to function and clean itself out, but your skin cells show the most obvious signs of hydration. When you are hydrated, your skin will look more radiant, less wrinkly, and more youthful.

2. Choose a balancing or hydrating cleanser.

We suggest looking for a cleanser that will either balance your skin or add antioxidants like vitamin C to your skin’s surface. Harsh cleansers can strip the natural oils off the surface of your skin, leaving it feeling even more dry and irritated this winter. That’s why we specifically recommend these cleansers:

Also, avoid these common skincare faux pas…

1. Bar soap and harsh cleansers

These will strip your skin’s surface of natural oils and leave skin sensitive to the environment. Instead, try an exfoliating body scrub and use our recommended facial products.

2. Rubbing your skin dry

Your towel can have dirt, environmental pollutants, and oils on it. The best way to avoid putting these back into your skin is to use a clean towel and pat your skin dry. Avoid rubbing as much as possible.
